Mr. Arun Mehta has been appointed as Managing Director & Chief Executive Office at SBI Capital Markets Limited (SBICAPs) in January 2020. Prior to his appointment at SBICAPs, Mr. Mehta was the Chief General Manager– Financial Control at the State Bank of India (SBI) Corporate Center, Mumbai.

Mr. Mehta has over 34 years of experience in banking, having started his career with SBI in 1985. Mr. Mehta has handled various assignments both in India and overseas, across various functions, gaining wide experience in different areas of Banking. His assignments include Vice President (Syndication & Investment) at Hong Kong, Dy. General Manager (Merchant Banking) in International Banking Group handling ECBs, FCTLs and Loan Syndication, General Manager- Mid Corporate Group Ahmedabad responsible for the State of Gujarat as also Diu and Daman and Chief General Manager, Financial Control in the CFO vertical.

Mr. Mehta is a Post Graduate in Economics and Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers.

Mr. Dinesh Kumar Khara is the Managing Director Global Banking and Subsidiaries, State Bank of India. He holds a Board level position in the Bank supervising the businesses of non banking subsidiaries of the Bank. The subsidiaries are engaged in diverse financial activities such as Asset Management, Life Insurance, General Insurance, Custodial Services, Primary Dealership, Investment Banking, Broking, Credit Cards, Pension Funds and Factoring services. He is entrusted with the role of supervision of 18 Regional Rural Banks (sponsored by SBI) having more than 5,500 branches, serving more than 55 million customers. In addition, he oversees the Risk Management & Compliance areas of the Bank and Information Technology arm of the Bank.

Mr. Dinesh Kumar Khara, did his Masters in Business Administration from FMS New Delhi and is a post-graduate in Commerce. He is also a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB). Mr. Khara joined SBI as Probationary Officer in 1984 and has over 33 years of experience in all facets of Commercial banking such as Retail Credit, SME/Corporate Credit, deposit mobilization, international banking operations, branch management, etc.

Mr. Dinesh Kumar Khara successfully accomplished a major feat of merging SBI with its five Associate Banks and Bhartiya Mahila Bank. With this feat State Bank of India has joined the league of top 50 banks globally. Prior to being appointed as Managing Director of State Bank of India, Mr. Khara was the MD&CEO of SBI Funds Management Pvt. Limited (SBIMF). Under his leadership the Company leaped one position up and became the 5^th largest Mutual Fund in India with total AUM of about Rs. 1,30,000 crore by improving its market share to 8.8% from 7%. As Chief General Manager - Bhopal Circle, State Bank of India, he was responsible for managing around 1400 branches and handling deposits and advances portfolio of approx. Rs 1.51 lac crores. During his tenure the Bank increased market share in its area of operation and also improved profitability of key businesses by formulating and implementing strategies for effective delivery of products and services with a clear focus on maximizing profits. As GM in Associates and Subsidiaries department of SBI Corporate Centre, Mr. Khara worked closely with the operational and strategy issues of various Non-banking subsidiaries of SBI. 

He has worked in Bank’s Chicago office and was associated with the overseas acquisition of Indian Ocean International Bank Mauritius (now SBI Mauritius) during his stint in Overseas Expansion wing of International Banking Group.

Mr. Ashwani Bhatia is the Managing Director of State Bank of India since 24^th August 2020 and holds a Board level position in the Bank. He is also a member of Board Level Committees in the Bank including Executive Committee, Risk, Audit, ITSC.

In his present role as Managing Director (Global Banking & Subsidiaries) Mr. Bhatia oversees the International Banking book & Corporate Banking Book (assets over USD 102 Billion) and Treasury Operations of the Bank. In addition to the above, he oversees the functioning of Domestic and Foreign Subsidiaries of the Bank. The Non-Banking Subsidiaries of the Bank are engaged in diverse financial activities such as Asset Management, Life Insurance, General Insurance, Credit Cards, Custodial Services, Primary Dealership, Investment Banking, Broking, Pension Funds, Factorial Services etc. He is also entrusted with overseeing the functioning of 14 Regional Rural Banks with 4721 branches and serving about 44 million customers. Currently, he also holds portfolio of Commercial Clients Group, IT & Risk verticals of the Bank.

Prior to his present assignment, Mr. Bhatia was looking after the Stressed Assets Resolution Group vertical of the Bank including the IT vertical as MD (IT & SARG).

Prior to his appointment as Managing Director in State Bank of India, Mr. Bhatia was the MD & CEO of SBI Funds Management Pvt Limited (SBI Mutual Fund). Before joining SBI Funds Management Private Limited, he was working as a Chief General Manager, Corporate Centre in SBI, where he was responsible for revamping of credit structure and processes of the Bank. Mr. Bhatia has also had a stint with SBI Capital Markets as President & COO.

Some of his key positions in the bank include Chief General Manager- SME, General Manager (Retail Operations), DGM (Forex), DGM (Interest Rates), AGM & Chief Dealer in equities market. Mr. Bhatia also had a stint abroad as Chief Dealer at Tokyo and was responsible for Treasury functions of Japan Operations of SBI.

Mr. Bhatia, 58 is a graduate in Physics & Mathematics from Dayalbagh University, Agra and is an MBA from Poddar Institute of Management, Jaipur. Mr. Bhatia joined SBI as Probationary Officer in 1985 and has over 35 years of experience in all facets of Banking

Mr. Vasudeo R. Galkar is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and holds a degree in law and a bachelor’s degree in commerce. Mr. Galkar retired as an Executive Director (Investment) of Life Insurance Corporation of India with 33 years of service out of which 13 years in Investment Department.

With a Master's degree in Economics, Ms. Bharati Rao has been the quintessential banker since August 1972. Her 35 years in the Bank have seen a range of assignments both in India and abroad in areas like Commercial Banking, Project Finance, and International Banking. She has had stints as Manager- Business Development, Singapore, Deputy General Manager- Overseas Branch, Bangalore, General Manager- Project Finance SBU, Mumbai, Chief General Manager- International Banking Group, Foreign Offices, Mumbai, Dy. Managing Director & Group Executive (International Banking), Corporate Centre, Mumbai and Dy. Managing Director & Chief Credit Officer, Corporate Centre, Mumbai.

Mr. Sharad Sharma joined State Bank of India as a Probationary Officer in 1977 and has 39 years of wide experience in various areas of banking sector. He holds a Bachelors degree in Arts. During his long and illustrious career with the Bank spanning 39 years he handled many challenging assignments which include Managing Director, State Bank of Mysore, Chief General Manager Chennai Circle SBI, Chief General Manager Risk Management, CC, Mumbai, General Manager Global Market Unit Kolkata, General Manager Network-II New Delhi, General Manager Network-II, Mumbai and General Manager Project Finance CAG-Mumbai.

Mr. Naresh Yadav joined State Bank of India as a Probationary Officer in 1985.He is a Science faculty graduate and Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers.

He has been associated with SBI for 34 years and has managed various responsibilities in multiple roles like Head Human Resources – Delhi Circle, DGM & Circle Development Officer – Mumbai, Head Business & Operations – West Zone (Mumbai), Head Mid Corporate – Regional Office Kolkata, Network Head - Kolkata and Deputy CEO - Jio Payments Bank.

Mr. Manish Singhal joined State Bank of India as a Probationary Officer in September’1995.  He has more than 23 years of experience in various areas of banking, including International Banking, Branch Operations, HR department, overseas assignment at SBI Tokyo and SBI Singapore. 

He has handled control function as Chief Manager (BOPM) at Network-3, LHO New Delhi having more than 500 branches. He has also handled Investment portfolio and role of Chief Financial Officer at SBI Singapore.

Mr. R Viswanathan has over 33 years of banking experience, having started his career as a Probationary Officer with State Bank of India in 1987. He has held various positions both in India and overseas, across multiple functions, gaining wide exposure in Commercial and Investment Banking.

Prior to assuming charge as President & Chief Operating Officer of SBICAP with effect from 27^th May 2020, his roles included Chief General Manager, Commercial Clients Group - South, SBI, Corporate Centre, Mumbai (Sep’18-May’20), CEO at SBI, New York (2013-18), and Regional Head, SBICAP, Bangalore  (Oct’10-Mar’13).

During the period 1987 to 2010, he had held assignments spanning various facets of Consumer Banking and Credit Management such as Regional Manager (of a Network of Branches), Head of Credit Processing Cell (Mid Corporate Group Regional Office), Division Manager (Credit), and Branch Head, apart from a stint in SBI Tokyo (1994-96).

He is a Post-Graduate in Mathematics and a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers; he has also attended Executive Development Programs in IIM Lucknow, ISB Hyderabad and Harvard Business School, Boston.

Mr.D. P. Singh is a Post-Graduate in Commerce, Post Graduate Diploma holder in PMIR (Personnel Management & Industrial Relations) & CAIIB. He has over 30 years of rich experience in Banking and Financial services industry. Before becoming the ED & CMO (Domestic Business) in May 2012, he was the National Sales Head. He has been with company since 1998 and has been instrumental in expanding SBI Mutual Fund's reach in both urban and rural areas. Prior to joining the company, he was with SBI where he handled various assignments in Retail & Corporate Banking. Recently he has been designated as the ED & Chief Business officer, overseeing the entire business of the company. SBI Funds Management is the largest Asset Management company in the country, managing over 11 Lac crs of Assets Under Management which comprises of Rs. 4 lacs crs on the Mutual Fund Platform and another 7 lacs crs on the PMS and the advisory platform. He has interests in economics, current affairs and public relations.

Mr. Amit Golia is an MBA (Marketing) from Mumbai University and has a rich experience of over 20 Years. He was associated with companies like Axis Securities Limited, Motilal Oswal Securities Limited, ICICI Securities Limited, etc.

In his previous assignments with Axis Securities Limited, he was instrumental in setting up one of the best investment platforms in the country managing over 2 million customers. He has won multiple awards & accolades for innovations, business growth and marketing campaigns.

Mr. Chandresh Dedhia  is a CISM certified professional and has done his Bachelors in Commerce (B.COM) before completing his MBA in IT and Systems  from ICFAI. He has a rich experience of over 20 years.  

Prior to joining SBICAP Securities, he was associated with companies like Yes Bank, RBL Bank, Tata Consultancy Services,  Barclays Bank etc.

Mr.Hirak Parikh has joined us as the Chief Compliance & Risk Officer and has a rich experience of over 17+ years. He has done MMS in Finance from K. J. Somaiya Institute of Management and Research.

Prior to joining SBICAP Securities, he was associated with companies like Angel Broking Ltd., Gridstone Research, ICICI Bank and Reliance Infocomm Ltd.
 

Mr. Amit Shah is a Chartered Accountant and has rich experience of over 17 years.

Prior to Joining SBICAP Securities, he was associated with companies like Kotak Securities Limited, ICICI Bank, ShareKhan, Axis Securities Limited, and Religare Broking.

In his previous assignment with Religare Broking, he was responsible for P&L Management of Digital Business, Digital Acquisition & On-boarding, Digital Transformation, etc.

Mr. Vineet Samuel has done his PGDBM in Finance from Indian Institute of Rural Management, Jaipur. He holds experience of over 18 years in Investments & Retail Assets. Prior to joining SBICAP Securities, he has served organizations such as Reliance Money Ltd, ICICI Bank, Cargill India Ltd and Henkel Spic (I) Ltd where he has spent substantial period.

Mr. Anand Barbhaya has done his Bachelors in Commerce (B.COM) before completing his Chartered Accountancy (CA). During his 20 years of career, he has worked in various capacities and holds experience in different assignments in the field of Risk, Compliance, Product & Process Automation and Operations.

Mr. Manoj Mahadeshwar joined SBICAP Securities Ltd in 2010. He is a professional with over 19-years of rich experience in Sales, Business Development, Channel Management, Client Relationship Management in Financial Services. He is currently designated as Head- Retail Sales with SBICap Securities Limited

Prior to joining SBICAP Securities, he served many organizations such as Reliance Securities, HDFC Securities & Sharekhan, where he has spent substantial period and have contributed to the growth of the organizations.

Mr. Manmeet Khurana has done his Bachelors in Commerce (B.COM) before completing his MBA in Marketing from University Business School (UBS), Chandigarh. He has a rich experience of over 23 years.  

Prior to joining SBICAP Securities, he was associated with companies like ICICI Securities, Ozone Ayurvedics, Godfrey Phillips India Limited & Dabur India Limited.

Mr. Mahantesh Sabarad has done his MMS from Sydenham in Mumbai after a 2 year stint with Siemens post his BE (Electrical). With over 25 years of total experience, he has worked in three roles in his entire career; one as an engineer selling industrial equipment in Siemens, one as a corporate strategist in corporate finance team of Tata Motors and one as an research (fundamental) analyst. His role as an analyst began in 2005 and has largely been on the institutional research side. Mr. Mahantesh Sabarad entered the SSL family in late 2013. He frequently offers views on markets on TV channels (like CNBC TV18, ET NOW, BTVi, Bloombergquint) and gets quoted in business newspapers. He has also written a few opinion pieces in Livemint.

Mr. Sumit Ghosh has done his MBA in HR from the University of Pune. He has rich experience of over 11 years in HR. Prior to joining Sbicap Securities, he served many organisations such as Axis Securities, J M Financial and Reliance Securities Ltd, where he has spent substantial period and have contributed to the growth of the organizations.

• Mr. Dhirendra Rautela is the Head Compliance at SBICAP Securities. He has over 17 years of diverse experience, His domain expertise is compliance, Risk and Operations.

  Before joining SBICAP Securities, Dhirendra was part of leading Fortune 500 players like Edelweiss Securities Limited, National Stock Exchange of India Limited and Citigroup Global Services Limited.

  He has graduated from Mumbai University and he is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of India.

Ms. Dhanashri Kenkre is a fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and holds a degree in law, Post Graduate Diploma in Securities Law and a bachelor’s degree in commerce.  She joined SBICAP Securities Ltd in February, 2008 with a rich experience of over 17 years in Financial Services. Prior to joining SBICAP Securities, she served many esteemed organisations such as Asit C. Mehta Investment Interrmediates Ltd. (ACMIIL), Sharekhan & The Indian Hotels Company Limited.

Ms. Ujjwala Khatkhate has done her Executive MBA from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai. She holds experience of over 15 years in Customer Support Division. Prior to joining SBICAP Securities, she served many organizations such as Axis Securities, Reliance Securities, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, HDFC Standard Life Insurance where she has spent substantial period and have contributed to the growth of the organizations.

Mr. Sahil Anand has completed his PGDM (Finance and Strategy) from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow and has done his Bachelors in Electronics and Electrical Communication (BE-E&EC) from Punjab Engineering College (PEC), Chandigarh. He has joined SBICAP Securities in December 2020 and has a rich experience of over 12 Years in scaling up business verticals, digital marketing, platforms and products. He was associated with companies like Reliance Securities, Reliance Capital, Axis Asset Management Company, etc.

In his previous assignment with Reliance Securities Limited, he was instrumental in scaling up the digital business vertical. He has won multiple awards & accolades for innovations and new digital platforms in his previous roles

Mr. Sourabh S has done his MBA in Finance & Marketing from MG University and is a Google certified Digital Marketing Professional. He holds over 12-years of rich experience in Sales, Business Development, Digital platforms, Products & Marketing  in Financial Services. Prior to joining SBICAP Securities, he has served organizations like Reliance Securities & Aditya Birla Money and spent substantial period with them contributing to the growth of these organizations.
